Water scarcity will be the subject of two upcoming talks.
“Flow: For Love of Water,” Irena Salina’s award-winning documentary about the emergence of a world water cartel will be shown at noon Sunday, Sept. 23 during a $5 lunch at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 429 Cypress Ave.
UC Irvine Prof. William Cooper’s “Water: The Looming Global Crisis,” on Saturday, Sept 29, he will give a 9:30 a.m. presentation about water scarcity and its causes and impact, at the Neighborhood Congregation Church, 340 Saint Ann’s Dr.
The public is welcome at both events.
