Over 60 members of the Laguna Playhouse’ “Playhouse Women” support group – from south county cities and beyond – gathered at the Laguna Nursery earlier this month to enjoy wine and art, and to encourage membership.
One of its most successful fundraising strategies is an author presentation and book-signing series. The next author presentation will be on Nov. 2, featuring the writer of “The Maybelline Story,” Sharrie Williams, a local resident.
