Parents are invited to attend a panel discussion entitled, “How to Help Students Thrive and Survive” on Wednesday, Feb. The 6 p.m. presentation will take place in the LBHS library.
Presenters include Lynn Posey, who will share strategies and techniques to work with adolescents; high school counselor Nichole Rosa; as well two students, who will describe the challenges that exist in Laguna Beach and how they overcame them.
Parents are invited to attend with their students.
Topics include building blocks proven to help youth thrive and succeed, balancing school and social stress, developing coping skills and resiliency, and how to successfully transition beyond the hometown bubble.
