Art Fests End Season With Final Flourishes

Art-A-Fair is holding its customer appreciation weekend in the season’s final days with admission is free on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A line-up of live entertainment is set. Contest prizes are available.

Over 200 Laguna Beach artists will celebrate the close of the 46th annual Sawdust Art Festival on closing day Sunday, Sept. 2, wrapping up with a final special event and musical entertainment through the last hour. Visitors still have a chance to win a 2012 Honda Civic in a raffle drawing Sunday, at 4 p.m. on the Main Entertainment Deck. Raffle tickets support Sawdust Art Education and are $5 each or five for $20.

The Festival of Arts ends its 80th anniversary with a scavenger hunt of spoofs Friday, Aug. 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Find 25 hidden pranks on Festival exhibitors artwork and you could win tickets to next year’s Pageant of the Masters.
