Wyland Galleries Commemorates 35 years
Laguna Beach’s Wyland takes the wraps off his latest’s works of art and news of his latest travel and environmental outreach projects at Wyland Galleries, on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 6 – 10 p.m.
The show at 509 S. Coast Highway marks his 35th year as an artist and is open to the public .
Plein Air Artist Visiting Historic District
Award winning plein air artist Kirsten Anderson will be featured Monday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of Crystal Cove State Park’s visiting artist program in its historic district.
Anderson, of Long Beach, draws inspiration for her paintings from her travels and time outdoors. Her art uses the techniques of classical representation with touches of vivid colors and spontaneous brush strokes. See her working in person .
