Birders Take Flight on Park Walk

A birding hike on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 8-11 a.m. will offer participants the opportunity to spot local native birds and migratory summer residents with Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteer naturalists.

The two-mile hike covers uneven terrain in the James Dilley Preserve.

Also on Sunday at the same time, learn how Native Americans of the area used native plants on a rigorous two-mile cultural resource hike, beginning at the Little Sycamore Canyon Staging Area/Nix Nature Center.

The Dilley Loop Hike on Tuesday, Sept. 27, will feature a two-mile hike over steep and uneven terrain while spotting interesting plants and animals.
