Shakespeare by the Sea’s production of “The Tempest” and “As You Like It” takes place Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, respectively, at Bonita Canyon Sports Park, 1990 Ford Road, in Newport Beach.
Both 7 p.m. performances are free and open to the public. Those planning to attend should bring blankets, beach chairs and a picnic dinner.

Six-band Concert Rocks the Woman’s Club
Six different bands or solo artists, as well as several local artists displaying their work, will take part in a fundraiser Saturday, July 18, at the Woman’s Club, 286 St. Ann’s Dr.
The musicians, who perform beginning at 8:30 p.m., are World Anthem, Moral Groove, Moonrock Saints, Jackie Pember, Willie Ames and Tory Jones.
Admission is $5 and benefits Laguna Foundation for the Arts, which promotes artists and art education.
A cash bar will be available throughout the evening as will food items.

Just a Jump to the Left: ‘Rocky Horror Show’ Returns
The raucous rock ‘n’ roll musical “The Rocky Horror Show” returns to No Square Theatre for performances Friday through Sunday, July 24-Aug. 9, at 7:30 p.m.
The stage audience is invited to dress the part, but refrain from some of the rituals of film showing, including throwing rice and toast on stage at 384 Legion St.
Gender bent and scantily clad, the cast cavorts through an adult-themed plot line in its 40th year as a cultural phenomenon.
