Last Chance for Chocolate and Song

The “Art, Jazz, Wine and Chocolate” series concludes with a performance by Billy Valentine from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at the Festival of the Arts, 650 Laguna Canyon Rd.

Sample a wide variety of Kendall-Jackson wines expertly selected to compliment and enhance the nuanced flavor of high-end chocolates from XAN Confections.

Concerts are free, wine and chocolate pairings are $15 in addition to Festival of Arts admission, $4-$6. Limited seating available in reserved section for an additional $25 per person by calling (800) 487-3378.

Ranch Chef Serves Up Old Favorites

The 2014 Festival of Arts’ Art of Cooking series comes to a close on Sunday, Aug, 24 with Chef Camron Woodsof Harvest Restaurant at The Ranch. Chef Woods’ dishes put a new twist on old favorites, inspired by the local flavors, ingredients and traditions of American and California Cuisine. He will demonstrate and share recipes from the new Laguna Beach resort between 1 and 2 p.m. Cooking demonstrations are free with Festival admission $6- $10.

Youth Art Workshops Continue     

This week kids aged 5- 12 years can take art classes taught by professional Festival artists in Cyanotype photo, printing, jewelry making, collage, painting in oil and watercolors,  printmaking, wire sculpture, clayton and pastel drawing at the Festival of Arts, 650 Laguna Canyon Rd.
