Three players on Laguna Beach High School’s football team were honored at the National Football Foundation’s athlete scholar event at the Anaheim Convention Center on Monday, Feb. 25.
Boys needed to be first-team all-league and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to be invited. A large contingent of local players came out in support.
Local boys receiving honors were Robert Clemons III, who will be attending Yale University in the fall; Spencer Anderson, who is still undecided; and Adam Farsheed, who will be attending Northwestern University.
