Creative works produced by the Boys & Girls Club Even Start Preschool are on display at the Laguna Beach Library throughout May as part of the county wide Imagination Celebration.
Sponsored by Laguna Outreach for Community Art (LOCA), over 20 of the club’s preschool students are led through weekly art activities procured by LOCA teachers Pat W. Phillips, Sharon Risley, Carol Swanson, Noel Lashley and Billy Jo Lee.
The program serves as the children’s first experience in painting, collage making and clay sculpting. “The children have really blossomed in their creativity and art expression,” said preschool director Terry-Anne Barman.
