See what drama unfolds when the mischievous students of a tough New York public school go up against a naïve new teacher. Thurston Middle School actors are back in top form with their take on Bel Kaufman’s “Up The Down Staircase,” coming to Thurston’s Black Box Theatre in early March.
“The play offers our drama students the opportunity of creating many great characters,” explained theater department chair Mark Dressler. He described the comedy as having a message suitable for a family audience.
