“A squid can be beautiful,” said art instructor September McGee, who will lead an Art and Sea Lions workshop starting at 9 a.m. at Pacific Marine Mammal Center Saturday, Nov. 11.
The LOCA Arts Education activity at 20612 Laguna Canyon Road starts with a viewing of rescued and recovering sea lions followed by McGee teaching how to sketch a squid in oil pastels. Beginners are invited and everyone will take home finished art.
Cost is $20 for adults, and $15 for those 6 and up with a paid adult. Free on-site parking is included.
