Editor,
Last week the Indy published my letter regarding the traffic parked illegally on Coast Highway at the entrances to Emerald Bay and Irvine Cove (“Entry Policies Create a Public Safety Hazard,” May 16).
I’m now writing to express my thanks to the city and the police department. After emailing my letter to The Indy and the City Council, I received a response from city Council member Iseman. Within days of my email the police had placed a mobile sign at the entrance of Emerald Bay and I received a call from Sargent Falk explaining that the police are aware of the situation and that they are working on preventing /reducing this illegal parking.
I’m very happy that members of our community here in Laguna Beach do have a voice and that voice is heard. Thank you Toni and thank you Sargent Falk for your responses and action.

Glad you sent the note Max. I was glad to see they put up the electric sign. Great idea!
