What a beautiful ramble the new Village Entrance is, like walking in a park. Pedestrians and autos no longer mingle, the black asphalt is gone, replaced with a charming cobble stone look.
There’s even an extensive bike rack that looks like an art installation. I especially like old-time looking streetlamps and all the drought tolerant landscaping. Wonderful.
As the project nears completion, my daily walk to and from work may become the best part of the day. My thanks to the city for such a thoughtful and lovely realization.
