Former Laguna Beach mayor and landscape architect Ann Christoph, who has designed Montage gardens, portions of Heisler Park and is currently working on the city’s highway beautification projects, was awarded the Harry Lawrence Star of Excellence by the Laguna Beach Beautification Council.
The award was made at during the organization’s Shangri- La-guna gala and fundraiser last November.
The evening included a champagne toast to the late Harry Lawrence, who founded the council 62 years ago, and his original members, Mrs. L. Du Soe, Harry Willats, Nita Carmen, Dr. Green and Fred Lang.
