Ryan Gee captured his third straight Orange Coast League singles title with a 6-2, 6-1 defeat of teammate Tristian Krogius in league championships held at Laguna on Thursday, May 5. The doubles team of Ethan Gee and Hayden Seitz captured the doubles title defeating teammates Mason Libby and Taylor Sokolovic 6-1, 6-0. On Monday the 2016 team playoff pairings were released and as expected Laguna is seeded second in D-IV. Breakers opened play on Wednesday, May 11, hosting the wild card winner between Valley Christian and Knight. Should the Breakers prevail, second round is on Friday, May 13, quarterfinals on Monday, May 16, semi-final on Wednesday, May 18, and the final on Friday, May 20.
Last year Laguna lost in the finals to Redlands and the Terriers are top seed again this season.
