Laguna girls were also in San Diego after Christmas participating in the So Cal Holiday Classic. Breakers opened play on Friday, Dec. 26, defeating Valhalla 48-24 in the loser’s gym in El Cajon as Alexandra Lewis scored 22 including four three-point shots while Nicole Davidson added 11. On Saturday, Dec. 27, Breakers lost 38-25 to Canyon Crest Academy in a contest played at Bishop’s in La Jolla. Their tournament play continued this past week facing Knight (Palmdale) on Monday, Dec. 29 and San Pasqual (Escondido) on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
Laguna will resume play in 2015 hosting Century on Jan. 6, at 6 p.m. in Dugger Gym before traveling to Santiago/Garden Grove on Friday, Jan. 9.
