City to Host ‘Open for Construction’ Workshop

The City of Laguna Beach and the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the next “Open for Construction” workshop on Friday, Oct. 4, at Mozambique Restaurant, 1740 S. Coast Highway, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The workshop’s presentation will cover significant changes to the 2019 California Residential and Building Code Standards. The public is invited to attend the workshop to gain an overview of the changes and learn more about how they may affect design professionals, engineers, builders, property owners and real estate professionals.

Architects, designers, contractors, real estate professionals, residents, property and business owners are invited to attend. An optional pre-determined lunch is available for $12 at the door. Reservations are required for food service.
