Laguna Native Shines in the Midwest

Bella Carracino, an elementary education major and a resident of Laguna Beach, is on Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2013-2014 academic year at Butler University in Indianapolis.

 Art Lessons Celebrate Whale Season

As part of environmental artist Wyland’s partnership with Dana Wharf, children 3-12 who accompany an adult on a whale-watching cruise are also eligible for an art lesson.

The cruise is $45 and the lessons are on Saturdays through April 26, 9 a.m. – noon; advance reservations are required. Visit danawharf.com or call 888.224.0603. A $5 donation per child goes to the Laguna Beach artist’s Wyland Foundation art and science education.

All children’s artwork will be entered into a contest to win prizes and the winning artwork will be framed and hung for public viewing during the month of May at Dana Wharf, 34675 Golden Lantern St, Dana Point.
