Collection of Classes at the Susi Q

The Susi Q Center is offering a variety of classes, discussions, and groups during the month of July.

 On select Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. there will be a free science discussion group focusing on the issues, controversies, and societal impact of a variety of topics.

Conversational Spanish courses for those who enjoy the food, cinema, literature, music, and art of the Spanish speaking world will be held on Mondays beginning July 11-Aug. 22.

On Wednesday mornings that began July 6, free backgammon lessons will be lead by Efy Shirazi for all levels.

Taste interesting wines and learn secrets about pairing them with food in a class sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute on Monday, July 18, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

During July and August, bingo will be held at 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays.

The center offers a variety of free services, which in July includes computer assistance every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., hearing aid service the first Thursday of every month at 12:30 p.m., and hearing screening the second Thursday of every month from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
