Concert Band Performs Free at Festival of Arts

Mayor Pro Tem Steve Dicterow serves as guest conductor earlier this summer and receives a proclamation from band director Ed Peterson.

The Laguna Concert Band marks its 15^th anniversary with two remaining summer concerts: at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the Festival of Arts, and at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30 at Central Park in Huntington Beach.

The Laguna Concert Band is partly supported by a grant from the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts Foundation, which promotes artistic endeavors in town. The 70-piece concert band directed by Ed Peterson and associate conductor Pete Fournier routinely perform at civic functions, parades and the summer festivals locally and in the area.
