The curtain goes up for the high school dance department’s winter concert, “Infinite,” with 7:30 p.m. performances Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14 at the Artists’ Theatre.

The pounding beats, lyrical melodies and the graceful movements of 40 hard-working dancers who have been rehearsing since September fill a program that showcases the work of guest choreographers and is directed by high school dance teacher Lisa Jay.

Professional choreographers include Leann Alduenda, Erika Fernandez, Darrien Henning, Kathy Kahn and Michael Perez. Madeline Shirley, who graduated in June, also joins the list of guest choreographers.

Tickets are $8 for students and seniors, $15 for adults.
