Kristine Thalman was named interim executive director of the 200-member Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce, president Chris Keller announced this week.
Thalman, a former executive of the Building Industry Association’s Orange County chapter, replaces Rose Hancock, who recently resigned to start her own events management company.
Thalman previously worked in government affairs for KB Home, a homebuilder, and the city of Anaheim, where she worked on the city’s economic development strategies. She also initiated a traffic management program for Anaheim’s resort area.
“We are confident that Kristine’s skills and experience will serve the Chamber of Commerce well, and we are glad to have her on board to execute exciting changes and oversee the development of great partnerships within the business community,” said Keller.
