The election season is almost over and we can soon breathe a sigh of relief. It’s been a long, contentious struggle at all levels—national, state and local.
Some decisions, such as how to vote on state initiatives, may have been difficult, but the one closest to home, Laguna’s City Council race, is easy at least for me.
Although there are several good candidates, I believe that Mayor Pro Tem Verna Rollinger, because of her dedication, integrity and experience in city government, is clearly the best choice. If re-elected she will continue to respond to our concerns, study the issues thoroughly and make sound decisions based on facts.
We know we can trust Verna to do the right thing. If you haven’t yet voted, be sure to go to the polls on Nov. 6.
