Sports enthusiasts are invited to bring their gently used gear to the fourth annual sports swap planned at Thurston Middle School on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Organizers welcome sports equipment, surfboards, paddleboards, bodyboards, wetsuits, bikes, golf clubs, snowboards, winter outerwear, and skis and boots for youth and adults.
Items will be sold through consignment by the Thurston PTA and some of the proceeds will go towards school programs and activities. Full donation items are accepted as well.
Additionally, great deals can be had from local sponsors such as Hobie, Eko Surf, Victoria Skimboards, Laguna Cyclery, SUP Co., and Ripcurl.
Bring gear priced to sell to the Thurston gym the day before the sale, Friday, Nov. 2 between 8 and 9 a.m. or between 1 and 6 p.m. All paperwork can be found online at Thurstonpta.org and available along with price tags at the check in point.
All items unsold and not picked up by 3 p.m. will be discounted 50% and unsold goods donated to the Laguna Beach Boys and Girls Club.
