Breakers took the inside track for the 2017 Orange Coast League title with a 207-249 victory over Calvary Chapel, of Santa Ana, (3-1) on Thursday, Sept. 21, at Mile Square Golf Course. BellaRose Robinson led the squad with a 34 followed by Sarah Hollinshead at 37. Claire Smithers shot a 43 followed by Kennedy Roller at 45 and Abby Beken at 48.
Laguna also lost a pair of non-league matches to Los Alamitos 182-232 on Sept. 20 and Crean Lutheran 245-202 Sept. 26.
