Breakers concluded their regular season with a 18-0 non-league sweep of Saddleback on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and met fifth-ranked University at home on Nov. 2 in the SSCIF Division 1 first round match. In the league finals last week at Saddleback, Justice Tien from Calvary Chapel defeated Vanessa Gee 6-0, 6-0 to win the 11th annual Orange Coast League singles title. Tien’s win snapped the Breaker’s seven-year hold on the title.

Calvary’s Aimee Fabella captured third with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Laguna’s Chloe Stuart. In doubles, Taylor Corrigan and Lina Gleizer defeated the Laguna team of Megan Mindte/Jessa Chaney 7-6, 6-4.

Jai-Lin Garrett/Joie Selin made it an all-Laguna awards podium by taking third 7-5, 6-1 over the Costa Mesa team of Le/Henriquez.
