Danielle Gagne, a Top of The World student, recently won first place all-around in the bronze division for ages 7-8 in the USAIGC national championships in Palm Springs.
Danielle placed first in each event during the all around competition, thus qualifying for the individual finals in all four events. In the individual finals, Danielle earned a gold medal on both floor exercise and uneven bars, and a silver medal on both balance beam and vault.
Out of seven meets, Danielle has brought home first all-around five times and finished second in the other two.
Danielle trains at National Gymnastics Training Center with coaches Debra Hutchinson and Nikolai Dorochenko.
