Two brothers who attend Laguna Beach High School raced the Filthy Fifty on Oct. 26—an annual 50-mile mountain biking race held in Escondido. Brady White (sophomore) secured 4th, and Dylan White (senior) placed 8th in a 151 competitor Sport Men’s class division. Racers battled temperatures of over 90 degrees for this 50 mile event. It was an accomplishment to complete the race, as many competitors were unable to finish due to the extreme heat and mechanical issues from the rugged terrain.
