Two dance pros will share insider secrets and teach a variety of dance stylesSaturday, May 10, at a pair of classes for dancers of all ages presented by Laguna Dance Festival.
The classes will be taught by dancer and choreographer Darrien Henning and Lisa Jay, dance director at Laguna Beach High School and a seasoned professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher.
Jay and Henning will teach a class for youth ages 9–13 from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and another class for ages 14 to adult from 1 to 4 p.m.
Students will learn moves from hip hop, Broadway, and jazz genres. The industry experts will share invaluable tips on the dance audition process, how to promote yourself as a professional, and how agencies sign new talent.
Classes will be held at the Laguna Beach High School Dance studio, 625 Park Ave.
