In her first year of competing, Staci Ensminger, 9, an El Morro Elementary third-grader, claimed first place medals in every individual event that placed her as the all-around winner at the California Classic Invitational Meet in Aliso Viejo.
She held the top score of 9.450 in the floor exercise setting her personal best.
She is currently training at the National Gymnastics Training Center in Aliso Viejo and coached by Debra Hutchinson and Nikolai Dorochenko.
