Girls All-Star Soccer Team Triumphs

The Laguna Beach girls under 10 all-star team triumphed in the final 1-0 versus Mission Viejo. The team was in a three-way tie for second place and the section decided to hold two semi-finals. Laguna edged out San Juan in a shoot out to qualify for the championship game thanks to goals scored by Molly Riehle.

The final proved to be a very close and intense battle, but two minutes away from another shoot out, Kayleigh Thomas scored the winning goal, slotting it into the corner of the net. A celebration ensued at the final whistle .

 

 

 

 

 

 

Girls Team Wins at Tournament

The girls under 14 team won the 2016 all star area tournament Wednesday, Jan 27.

The team coached by Paul Parker and Dave Shipp will go on to face teams from Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Long Beach in the All Star Champions tournament in Garden Grove on Feb. 20 and 21.
