Congressional candidate Hans Keirstead discusses gun violence prevention in a town hall talk Wednesday, April 25, with guest speaker and gun violence victim Ron Barber.
Barber, who served as former Rep. Gabby Giffords district director, was elected in 2012 to succeed his boss was she was shot in a mass shooting and stepped down. Barber was one of 17 also injured.
Barber shares his story beginning at 7 p.m. at the Arts & Learning Conservatory, 151 Kalmus Dr., G3, Costa Mesa.
Keirstead, a Democrat from Laguna Beach, is one of 15 candidates challenging incumbent Rep. Dana Rohrabacher in California’s June 5 primary.
