Schoolpower spices up its Chef Challenge by bringing in all four Laguna Beach principals for the dueling-menu fundraiser at downtown’s Lumberyard restaurant on Monday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m.

Returning competitors who lead El Morro and Top of the World schools.

At this annual event hosted by Lumberyard owners Cary and Suzanne Redfearn, school supporters are treated to a duo of competing three-course menus selected by the principal teams and prepared by the restaurant’s culinary team. Diners then cast votes for their favorite meal and the winning principal team is awarded the coveted top chef title.

“The inclusion of the elementary school principals is a terrific idea that will hopefully introduce this fundraiser event to the parents of our younger students,” said Cary Redfearn. “Duddy and LaMotte certainly have their work cut out for them as I’m sure Salberg and Culverhouse are going to bring all they have to the competition.”

Tickets are $95 per person and seating is limited. RSVP at www.lbschoolpower.org or call 949-494-6811.
