Hudson Saunders, a Laguna Beach resident and El Morro Elementary student, finished second in the NSSA Southwest Open Surfing Tour at Salt Creek Beach on Sunday, Feb. 26.
Hudson competes in the under 11 division and is currently ranked fourth after seven events, the highest ranked Laguna Beach surfer in all of the NSSA age divisions, according to his father, Don Saunders.
