About 300 people attended the Glennwood Housing Foundation wine-tasting fundraiser earlier this month, which raised surpassed expectations by raising $15,000 for the organization.
“The community is starting to understand the need for housing for these young adults with disabilities,” said Glennwood fundraiser organizer and local parent Wendy Potter, who expressed appreciation to Brian Cuddy, who provided wine, as well as Royal Hawaiian, French 75 and Stalkers Fine Foods, which provided guests with food.
Some of the guests included council members Toni Iseman and Verna Rollinger, Laura Parisi, Tom and Carolyn Bent, Darrcy Loveland, Michelle Boyd, Lisette Chel, Carol Zavala, Dennis and Nanette Meyers.
