Maija Shaw, a fifth-grader from Top of the World Elementary, continued her win streak at the Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation Track & Field Championships June 1 in Downey.
Maija ran 29.6 seconds in the 200 meter and 1:09.3 seconds in the 400, winning both races.
She previously won both events at the Laguna Beach track meet in April and the SCMAF Orange County track meet in May to qualify for the Southern California championship.
