Laguna Beach High School graduate Marina Paul led the NCAA Division 1 Georgetown University Hoyas in an upset of third ranked Virginia this past Sunday, Sept. 11
Paul played four years at LBHS and helped the Breakers capture Orange Coast League titles in 2012 and 2014, said her former coach, Bill Rolfing.
Now a senior at Georgetown, Paul has bounced back from injury in 2015 to play central defense and lead the Hoyas to the top of the Big East Conference while d knocking off Virginia and Rutgers.
