Summer School will be offered weekdays in grades 1-8 beginning June 23 to July 18 at Top of the World Elementary.
Classes begin at 8 a.m. and end at 12:15 p.m. They include remediation courses and English language support, both for students entering grades 1 – 5
For students in grades 6-8, courses available include remediation courses in English and Math and English language support. An accelerated Common Core Math class is offered for incoming sixth-graders.
Classes for high school students will be held at Laguna Beach High School, June 23 to July 25, also in the morning.
There are English, math, social studies, and non-lab science remediation courses for students in grades 10 – 12 as well as Adult Education/Credit Recovery students.
Other offerings include English language support for English learners, all grades of students, an American government and economics enrichment course for students entering grade 12, and Bridge Model United Nations (MUN) Workshop for students entering grade 9.
The workshop is a prerequisite for enrolling in the Model United Nations course.
