Celebrate Good Taste, billed by promoters Visit Laguna Beach as a three-day culinary adventure, takes place March 7-9, with prix fixe menus, dinners with food and beverage pairings, and seating at chef’s tables in many Laguna Beach hotels and restaurants.
March 7: The Rooftop Lounge at hotel La Casa del Camino, 1289 S. Coast Highway, offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine at dining stations throughout the hotel and live music.
Beer vs. Wine Tasting takes place on the oceanfront pool deck at Surf & Sand Resort, 1555 S. Coast Highway, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Five stations with culinary offerings paired with complimentary beer and wine pairing. Tickets: $49 per person.

Chef Table at Maro Wood Grill, 1915 S. Coast Highway, at 6 p.m., offer four-course dinner with wine pairings at the Chef Bar. Guests can also participate in a Q&A with the chef during and after the meal. $65 per person. Reservations: 949-793-4044. Also on March 8.
Masters of Malt, Whisky Dinner at Montage’s Loft, 30801 S. Coast Highway, pairs single malt whiskies with a four-course prix fixe menu. Reception at 6 and dinner 7 at p.m. Tickets are $125 per person. Reservations: 949-715-6420. Hotel guests receive complimentary tickets.
March 8: Beer 101 at the Surf & Sand Resort, craft beers are paired with an a la cart menu at the outdoor lounge, 4 -7 p.m. Reservations are not required.
March 9: Ava Dupree performs at the Gospel & Champagne Brunch, Tivoli Too, 777 Laguna Canyon Road, 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person at lagunabeachlive.org or 949-715-9713.
At the Art of Dining, at the Sawdust Art Festival, 935 Laguna Canyon Road, a three-course sustainable meal will be served from 4-7 p.m. on handcrafted dining sets made by Sawdust artists in the crowd. Tickets, $175 per person: 949 494-3030.
Laguna Art Museum’s Executive Director Malcolm Warner discusses food in art at a current Wayne Thiebaud exhibit. Free. 7 p.m.
