Teens Suspected in Car Break-ins

Police took four Laguna Beach teens who were not identified into custody about 2:26 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, as a result of a search of a neighborhood for a suspected car burglar, Sgt. Louise Callus said.

Three 17-year-old boys were cited for curfew violations and a 16-year-old for driving and drinking even as police investigate the origin of an Ipod, Ipod mini and a GPS found in their car, Callus said. “During the contact one of the juveniles told officers that another of the group had stolen the items. Officers were able to locate at least one of the victim vehicles,” Callus said.
