Laguna Beach resident and attorney Bill O’Hare, administrative partner in Snell & Wilmer’s Orange County office, has recently been elected to the KOCE-TV Foundation board.

Locally owned and controlled, the KOCE-TV Foundation governs Southern California’s rechristened PBS station, PBS SoCal.

PBS SoCal chief executive Mel Rogers, said, “The wisdom and influence of this group will provide immeasurable strength and power to what was already a very good board.”

O’Hare’s specialty is commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

Local Nonprofits Benefit from Bank’s Giving

Wells Fargo donated a record $5 million to Orange County nonprofits last year, a 50 percent increase compared to the year before.

About $46,000 went to Laguna Beach organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs, Friendship Shelter, Inc., Helping Hand World Wide, Laguna Art Museum, Laguna Beach Community Clinic, Laguna College of Art and Design, and Laguna Playhouse.

In addition, Wells Fargo team members contributed more than $467,000 and 12,700 volunteer hours to  neighborhoods and communities.
