The public’s feedback is wanted on a draft mobility plan at a 5-6 p.m. workshop Wednesday, Dec. 10 in City Hall by the Planning Commission and the Parking, Traffic and Circulation Committee.

Garden Club Hosts Magazine Editor
Former editor of House and Garden magazine, Charlotte Frieze, will be the guest speaker at the Laguna Beach Garden Club’s Friday, Dec. 12.
Following the 9:30 business meeting and social half-hour, Frieze will present “Private Paradise: Contemporary American Gardens” at 10 a.m. at the Laguna Beach Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave. Admission is free.

Committee Learns Outcome of Historic Property Survey
The city’s Heritage Committee and historic consultant will present a recent field survey of the homes identified on the 1982 Historic Resources Inventory at a 7 p.m. public meeting on Monday, Dec. 8.

Holiday Party Aids Artists With Ambition
The Artists Fund at the Festival of Arts will be holding their annual holiday luncheon and Chico’s Fashion Show at Tivoli Too on Wednesday, Dec. 10, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
This festive event at 777 Laguna Canyon Road benefits a scholarship program, which provides aid to past and present Festival of Arts exhibitors for professional development or supplies. The event will also include a fine art sale, raffle and silent auction, featuring Ken Auster’s “Bar Bella,” valued at $1,600.

Toy Drive Ignites Spark of Love
The Laguna Beach Fire Department’s four stations will again serve as drop-off points the annual Spark of Love toy drive, where firefighters collect new, unwrapped toys or sports equipment for children.
Fire authorities in five counties collaborate to collect and distribute approximately 300,000 toys annually to disadvantaged children who otherwise would not be receiving gifts. The campaign runs through Dec. 24.

Customers can create their own t-shirt designs in a workshop led by artist Suzanne Walsh from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 13, at The Soul Project, 1516 S. Coast Highway.
