I have to agree with Roderick Reed on the prices at Haggen’s (“Haggen’s Price Pinch,” May 22 edition)!
I appreciated their wide, uncluttered aisles, but not only were many of the items I normally bought more expensive, but others I bought were no longer available there.
I had done my weekly grocery shopping at Albertson’s for many years, and went to Ralph’s to pick up a few items that I had run out of, spur of the moment, etc. Now, I do the majority of my grocery shopping at Ralph’s, braving the narrow aisles and limited selections.
Where is the closest Albertson’s?….need to pick up some of their store brand items I liked!
