Burglary. 9:22 a.m. 800 block of Glenneyre St. Someone pried open the door of a business and opened cabinet drawers, though nothing was found missing.
Petty theft. 400 block of Dartmoor St. 3:17 p.m. A purse containing credit cards and gift cards valued at $2,000 was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Grand theft. 600 block of Park Ave. 3:29 p.m. A purse and its contents valued at $1,200 was stolen from a vehicle whose windows were shot out.
Traffic stop. 11:30 p.n. West St. A 40-year-old Irvine man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Traffic stop. 1:12 a.m. 500 block of St. Ann’s Dr. A 21-year-old Laguna Beach woman was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:50 a.m. 2200 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. A 20-year-old Aliso Viejo woman was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Grandtheft. 100 San Tropez Court. 5:01 p.m. An investigation is underway to determine whether a mover hired from Craigslist stole a resident’s property or whether the mover’s vehicle was impounded.
Defraud an innkeeper. 8:54 p.m. 200 block of Ocean Ave. Mary Taggart, 58, a Laguna Beach transient, was arrested for suspicion of burglary after ordering a meal knowing she lacked the resources to pay. Bail was set at $20,000.
Traffic stop. 9:31 p.m. 2900 block of Laguna canyon Rd. Nasha London Vargas, 46, of Lake Elsinore was arrested for suspicion of DUI. Bail was set at $10,000 due to a previous offense.
Wednesday, Dec. 12
Traffic stop. 12:21 a.m. Calliope St. A 24-year-old San Clemente man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Traffic stop.1:55 a.m. 200 block of Cress St. A 44-year-old Aliso Viejo woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Vehicle burglary. 7:33 a.m. 700 block of Gainsborough D. No details were available.
Vehicle burglary. 11:50 a.m. 500 block of Flora St. About $3,000 worth of cash, miscellaneous items, gift cards were taken overnight.
Grand theft. 2:39 p.m. 1200 block of Glenneyre St. A rare vintage poster prepared for shipping was left at a mail stop and disappeared before it was sent.
Burglary. 5 p.m. 300 block of Cypress Dr. About $1,200 worth of clothing and liquor were taken from a home by a suspect who entered through an unlocked sliding door.
Vehicle burglary. 5:45 p.m. 1100 block of Catalina St. About $500 in miscellaneous items and gift cards were stolen as a result of a break in.
Traffic stop. 11:09 p.m. 700 block of Cress St. A 30-year-old Ryan Laguna Beach was arrested for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Fraud. 9:42 p.m. 400 block of Hilledge Dr. An unknown person is using a local victim’s credit card to make purchases online from Nike.

Verbal threats. 600 block of Parl Ave. 11:29 a.m. Two girls exchanged insults and threats, which were determined to be baseless.
Traffic stop. 11:49 p.m. 200 block of Center St. A 54-year-old Laguna Beach man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Friday, Dec. 14
Traffic stop. 2:34 p.m. 300 block of Oak St. A 28-year-old Mission Viejo woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Occupied vehicle. 600 block of Hillcrest Dr. 2:24 p.m. Kyle Stanford Brigham, 24, of Laguna Beach, was arrested for suspicion of possessing multiple controlled drugs, including hydrocodone. Bail was set at $20,000.
H&S activity. 600 Park Ave. 3:15 p.m. School officials called police, who cited a student in possession of marijuana.
Traffic stop. 11:35 p.m. Wesley Dr. A 44-year-old Dana Point woman was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Citizen hail. 12:15 a.m. At Post Office. Property worth $1100 was taken from a vehicle in an Ocean Avenue lot.
Traffic stop. Agate St. 1:07 a.m. A 58-year-old Aliso Viejo man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 1:20 a.m. West St.A 45-year-old Anaheim woman was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:28 a.m. Vista del Sol. A 53-year-old Aliso Viejo man was cited for DUI and held for bail of $15,000.
Pedestrian stop. 1 p.m. 300 block of Forest. Mayra Patino, 29, of Ontario, was arrested for multiple outstanding San Bernardino county warrants.
Sunday, Dec. 16
Defrauding an innkeeper. 12-04719. 1:08 p.m. 200 block of S. Coast hwy. Cheyenne Vandenheuvel, 41, Skyvallie, Calif., was arrested for suspicion of burglary after walking out on a $50 tab. Bail was set at $20,000.
DUI. 8 p.m. 2900 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. After witnesses described an erratic driver, police arrested Anthony Maurillo, 23, of Laguna Niguel, for suspicion of possession narcotics for sale, finding a “cornucopia” of drugs in the vehicle.
Animal calls. 1000 block of Madison Place. 9:30 p.m. Goat herder was summoned to free a goat with its head stuck in the fence.
Monday, Dec. 17
Traffic stop. 2:50 a.m. Cardinal Dr. A juvenile was detained for curfew violation
Traffic collision. 6:25 a.m. Barracuda Way. A 20-year-old Laguna Beach woman, driving a car with other passengers, was arrested for DUI after plowing into a home. The collision broke a water line and was severe enough to require check of its integrity by a building inspector.
