Saluting ’13 in 007 Style

The St. Regis Monarch Beach hosts its New Year’s Eve party with live music, culinary stations, cocktails, Aston Martins, and a midnight champagne toast.

Located at 1 Monarch Beach Resort, advanced entry at 8 p.m. is $105 and includes the culinary stations.  Late entry at 10 p.m. is $75 and includes only the champagne toast. The theme is “Decades of Bond.”

 

Fish Discounted For Anniversary

Rock’N Fish, 422 S. Coast Highway, plans to celebrate the New Year and its two-year anniversary at the same time with a month’s worth of savings on its signature favorites throughout January.

Throughout the month, guests will have the opportunity to add a fresh lobster tail to their entrées for just $15. Along with the lobster special, guests may enjoy two signature Rock’N Fish favorites, the oak-grilled artichoke with roasted garlic aioli appetizer (regularly $10.95) or the Rock’N Fish Navy Grog ($8) for just $5 each.

Jazz Wednesdays Finds New Home

Laguna Beach Live! announces their lineup and new setting for their Jazz Wednesdays winter series. The cabaret concerts will be in the new intimate club atmosphere at Aliso Creek Inn, 31106 S. Coast Highway.

Concerts are 6 to 8 p.m. and doors open at 5 p.m. Aliso Creek will provide a menu and full bar. Tickets start at $12 online and are on sale to the public. Season tickets for $90 will be available until Jan. 16.

The Latin Jazz Syndicate kicks off the series on Jan. 16, followed by emerging artist pianist Nikos Syropolous, Jan. 30; pianist/vocalist Kate Reid Trio, Feb. 20; Grammy Award-winning pianist Bill Cunliffe, March 6; Sara Gazarek, March 20; Jeff Hamilton Trio, April 6; and Joshua White Trio, April 17.
