The winners of this year’s Boys and Girls Club photo contest are: Valery Reynoso, Bryan Renoso, Bella Rodas, Natalie Thompson, Sydney Wells, Arianna Jimenez, Brooke Orrill, Sophia Tosti and Mina Gardi. Over 500 images are on display in the club’s community room at1085 Laguna Canyon Rd. The photos were taken during the past year and were judged by Tom Lamb, Mary Church, and Pat Sparkhul. The winners will go on to compete in the Boys and Girls Club of America Pacific Regional Competition.
“The kids have the ability to take just a little direction and guidance and run with their imagination to capture a moment in time and make you appreciate the beauty of it,” said Emily Murray, Art Director at The Boys & Girls Club. The photos will remain on display until March 25.
