The Wyland Foundation recently announced its 26th annual Wyland Gala and Fundraiser, to be held at Seven-Degrees, 891 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach, on Nov. 10 from 4-9 p.m. The day’s events include a VIP whale and dolphin watching tour from 1-3 p.m. with world renowned environmentalist and marine life artist, Wyland. Guest speakers include marine biologists.

At noon, guests will take a VIP charter bus from the parking lot in front of Laguna Beach Beer Company, located next to Seven-Degrees. The pre-gala VIP whale and dolphin excursion aboard the “Dana Pride” begins at Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching with Wyland and guest speakers. The whale watch can be windy, so a light windbreaker is recommended by the organizers.

At 3 p.m., a VIP charter bus departs from Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching with a 3:30 p.m. return to Seven-Degrees.

Immediately following the whale watching event, guests are invited to attend the main gala and fundraiser which is “little dressy, a little casual” to accommodate the two events, per the organizers.

Silent auction, hors d’oeuvres with a hosted soft bar for two hours, including a cash bar, will also be on hand. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.

A live auction, Wyland painting, and entertainment including more guest speakers are scheduled throughout the evening. To reserve tickets, visit wylandfoundation.org.
