Capital Crime$ Ends in Sale to Highest Bidders
The Capital Crimes mixed media exhibition at Laguna Beach’s BC Space Gallery will end with the “indictments” being sold to the highest bidder. Prospective buyers may visit the gallery, 235 Forest Ave., from 2 to 5 p.m. through Saturday, March 23, though bidding will continue on line through April 1 at www.bcspace.com.
Mark Chamberlain’s deftly assembled installation shows the myriad ways in which greed and corruption permeates our culture. The messages and mediums of the exhibition range from subtle to blunt, but the collective fabric present clear indictments of the extraordinary damage to the American dream, Chamberlain said in a statement.
