Crystal Cove Alliance holds a three-day summer art show and sale, Friday, July 18, through Sunday, July 20, featuring a score of California plein air artists whose paintings depict Crystal Cove.
Preview the art at a Friday reception, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 -$50 and will be deducted from the purchase of a painting. The exhibit is free on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Half of art sale proceeds will benefit restoration, conservation, and education within Crystal Cove State Park.

Festival of Arts Kicks Off “Talk the Walk”
“Art Talks: A Lecture Series” begin at noon Thursdays at the Festival of Arts, 650 Laguna Canyon Rd. Artists will discuss topics of medium, influences, and current trends on a tour around the fine art exhibit.
Ten year volunteer Sabra Lande begins Thursday, July 10, sharing stories from her experiences as a docent during a 45-minute tour.
Tickets are $4 to $7 for each talk. A Pageant of the Masters ticket stub is good for free admission to the Festival of the Arts all summer.
